Marion was born on April 23, 1924 in West Palm Beach, FL and had lived in Clarksville for over 2 years coming from West Palm Beach. She was retired from the Stewart Title Company in West Palm Beach with over 40 years of service. She was a member of Northwood Methodist Church in West Palm Beach. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, John Douglas Johns and Marion Myrtle (Sparkman) Johns, 2 sisters, Lillian Ailene Morris and Georgia Kimmel, 1 brother, John Clifton Johns and a longtime partner, Jerry (Joseph) Croteau.

After her retirement from LAUSD, she moved to Lynn Haven, to be near her children and grandchildren.
Edith is preceded in death her parents, Richard and Norma Rowe of Los Angeles; her brother, Richard Rowe of Las Vegas; her sister, Norma Steele of Villa Park, CA.; her great-granddaughter, Hailey Boles of Callaway.
Edith is survived by her daughters: Laura Dolly (John) of Callaway, and Christina Butler (Chris) of Lynn Haven; her son, Douglas Harrell (Patricia) of Blountstown; her sister, Vera Snyder of Irvin, CA.; 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
