Mr. James E. (Butch) Womble, Sr., age 67, of the Alliance Community in Jackson County passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in Orlando, FL. Butch was born on May 7, 1949 in Panama City, FL and had lived in Alliance since 2007 coming from Texas. He was director of Cardiology and Radiology until his retirement. Butch was a member of the Moose Lodge in Palm Coast, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Ruby (Young) Womble.

Mrs. Jo Bond House, age 90, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 19, 2016, in Blountstown, FL. She was born in Morrisville, MO, and lived most of her life in Blountstown. Jo taught school, worked as a social worker, and owned an antique shop, The Foxfire. She was a real estate agent as well, and she enjoyed meeting people and welcoming new families to the community.
Jo was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blountstown, FL. She enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing, traveling, gardening, sewing, shopping, and playing cards. She was a loyal member of her penny ante poker club for over fifty years.
Jo is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Owen, and their three children: Rebecca (David), Virginia (Dennis), and David (Jackie). She has six grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Jo was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, and nothing pleased her more than to be surrounded by her family. One of her greatest pleasures was buying gifts for her family.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM (CDT) at Blountstown United Methodist Church with Pastor Nick Hughes officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM (CDT). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blountstown United Methodist Church (P.O. Box 299, Blountstown, Fl 32424)

Delma “Del” Bedsole, age 83, passed away on June 22, 2016 in Burnsville, Minnesota. Born in Blountstown, February 21, 1933, Del was the daughter of the late Arbie and Cleo Bracewell. She graduated from Blountstown High School in 1950 and married Douglas Bedsole in 1951.
