OBITUARY - Donaldson
Ralph Nolan “Shorty” Donaldson, 78, of Blountstown, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015.
Born in Bonifay, Florida, September 12, 1937, Shorty was the son of the late Willie Wallace and Grace (Birmingham) Donaldson. He was a graduate of Holmes County High School and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Shorty was a retired Wildlife Officer for Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission and was a member of Iamonia Lake Hunting and Fishing Club. He was a member of Blountstown First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Donna Marie Donaldson.
Survivors include two sons, James A. “Jim” Donaldson of Pensacola, Florida, and Timothy N. “Tim” Donaldson and his wife, Ramsey, of Brunswick, Georgia; his daughter, Kim Milligan, and her husband, Joe, of Blountstown; five grandchildren, Kyndal Williams, Annika Milligan, Ian Milligan, Andrew Donaldson, and Nicholas “Cole” Donaldson; three great-grandchildren, Rylea, Caisen, and Lakynn Williams; two sisters, Anita Chilcutt and her husband, Dick, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Leslie Boling and her husband, Harold, of Albany, Georgia; one step-great-granddaughter, Rosa Waldron; and two nephews, Jeff and Keith Chilcutt.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 29, at Adams Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Blountstown First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at City of Bonifay Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.

OBITUARY - Simpson
Edwina Marie Simpson of Blountstown passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015.
Born in Tallahassee, Marie was the daughter of Robert and Edwina (Kirkpatrick) Harvell. A true Seminole, she graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work and enjoyed her career with Liberty County Health and Rehabilitation Service until her retirement. Marie was a loving, involved mother to her three sons (Cub Scout den mother, Webelos leader, band parent, and church handbell choir parent). She served three terms on the Panhandle Public Library Cooperative System, was a member of Blountstown First Baptist Church and a member of the church’s BALL Club (Be Active Live Longer). She was an avid reader and gardener.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Halley (Jackie) Simpson.
Survivors include three sons, David Simpson of Blountstown, Bill Simpson and his wife, Andrea, of Tallahassee, and Steve Simpson of Huntsville, Alabama; three grandchildren, Stevie, Will, and A.J.; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Wingfield, of Falls Church, Virginia.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 22, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Adams Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church, 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, with Pastor Tim Rhoads officiating. Interment will follow in Boggs Cemetery in Blountstown.

Linda Yvonne Peavy, 72, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015.
Linda was born June 10, 1943, in Blountstown to Carlos and Virgie (Holley) Peavy. She was a graduate of Blountstown High School class of 1961.
Linda was preceded in death by her father and mother, Carlos and Virgie Peavy; a brother, Carlton Peavy, and his wife, Delber.
Linda is survived by a sister, Sharon Willis, and her husband, Ralph, of Bristol, FL; brother, Marlon Peavy, and his wife, Debbie, of Blountstown; nephews and niece, Rodney Willis and his wife, Sandy, David Peavy and his wife, Robbin, Grant Willis and his wife, Brandy, Jason Peavy and his wife, Amanda, Nichole Kollarik and her husband, Jerry, Travis Peavy and his wife, Niki; great nephews and nieces, Jordan and Drew Willis, Patrick Barwick, Cody and Aaron Peavy, Aaron and Iann Kollarik, Lesleigh and Logan Peavy, Jared and Hayley Melvin.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 23, at 11:00 am (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Coy Collins officiating. Interment will be at Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown. OBITUARY - Williamson
Lula Mae Williamson passed away at Pacifica Woodmont Senior Living Facility in Tallahassee, FL on October 10, 2015. She was born on October 21, 1925 in Brewton, Alabama. The family later moved to Jasper, FL where she grew up. On the day Lula Mae graduated from high school she married the love of her life, George Williamson, and moved to Blountstown, Florida where she and George raised their family. Lula Mae cherished her family and was steadfast in her faith and dedication to her church. Three years ago she moved to Tallahassee to be near her children.
She is survived by her 3 children, Dorothy, Carolyn and Richard Williamson, all of Tallahassee; 1 granddaughter, Melissa Miller, of Crawfordville, FL.; 3 great grandchildren, Ricky Miller and Michael and Carissa McRae, all of Crawfordville, FL.; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Williamson; parents, Lula and Wiley Odom; three brothers, Hayes, Ed and Bud Odom and 1 sister, Annie Laura Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at the Blountstown United Methodist Church on Tuesday, October 13th, at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church one hour prior to the service. Following the funeral service there will be a private family graveside gathering at the cemetery. Litmay Lewis, age 84, of Altha passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 in Altha. She was the daughter of the late Benny and Mary Elizabeth (Bamburg) McDaniel and was a homemaker. Litmay was of the holiness faith.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Seaborne Augustus Lewis; her son, Charles Lewis; daughter, Baby Litmay Lewis, four grandchildren, two brothers, Frank and John Bunn McDaniel, and two sisters, Beneva Smith and Dorothy Phillips.
Survivors include four sons, Robert Lewis (and late wife Louise) of Bristol, Carol Lewis and his wife, Darlene of Blountstown, Richard Lewis and his wife, Terry Lou of Hosford, and Gordon Lewis and his wife, Tink of Altha; daughters, Betty Malone and her husband, James of Altha and June Pitts and her husband, Allen, also of Altha; daughter-in-law, Joann Lewis of Blountstown; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, eighteen great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Barfield of Blountstown.
