Jimmy Cleveland Hardee, 68, of Telogia, Florida, passed away in Tallahassee, Florida Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
Jimmy was born in Quincy, Florida, December 18, 1946, to the late Billie Cleveland and Clearcy Mae (Moore) Hardee. He lived in Liberty County all of his life, loved to fish and hunt, and was a graduate of Liberty County High School. Jimmy was supervisor at Reichold Chemical and Telogia Power for 30+ years and was also in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Langston.
Survivors include his son, Joel C. Hardee, Sr., and his wife, Amy, of Tallahassee; three daughters, Lynn Locke and her husband, James and Keli Hardee, both of Tallahassee, and Pam Brown and her husband, Shannon, of Gainesville, Florida; five grandchildren, Anthony, Wayne, Mindy, Wesley, and Joey; four great-grandchildren, Summer, Sawyer, Sebastian, and Bailey; a brother, Greg Hardee, of Hosford; and two sisters, Allene Hood and her husband, Dewey, of Hosford and Wanda Moses of Apalachicola, Florida.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. ET, Sunday, March 1, at the Wesleyan Chapel in Hosford. Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. ET at the church. Interment will be in Hosford Cemetery.
