Mrs. Merle (Sutton) Pollock, age 89, of Okeechobee, FL passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 in Okeechobee.
Merle was born on March 14, 1924, in Bonifay, FL, and lived in Okeechobee for the past 34 years. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the West Side Christian Church in Okeechobee.
Merle was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Randal Deese and Millie Lou (Spence) Deese; her husband, L.C. Sutton; a son, baby boy Sutton; a brother, Alton J. Deese; and two sisters, Ernie Whittington and Alma Lee Baggett.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Pollock, of Okeechobee; three sons, Louie Clifford Sutton and his wife, Lauralie, of Apalachicola, FL, Phillip Wayne Sutton and his wife, Carol, of Blountstown, FL, and William Buell Sutton and his wife, Cheryl, of Okeechobee, FL; two stepsons, Doug Pollock of Muskegon, MI, and Dave Pollock and his wife, Thersa of Jamestown, OH; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 am (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, December 27, 2013 from 10:00 am (CST) until service time at 11:00 am (CST). Mrs. Lillian Louise Schweikert, 90, of Mexico Beach, FL, went to Heaven, Monday, December 16, 2013.
Lillian was born on February 11, 1923, in Greenville, South Carolina, and had lived in Mexico Beach since 1965. She was a homemaker and a member of Mexico Beach Methodist Church.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Charles Schweikert.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Schweikert and his wife, Patricia, of Buffalo, WY, Donald Schweikert and his wife, Carol, of Valrico, FL, and Richard Schweikert of Port Saint Joe, FL; two daughters, Judy Mahan and her husband, Wesley, of New Port Richey, FL; Janis Tankersley and her husband, Danny, of Port Saint Joe, FL; one brother, Don Hester, of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren, Don Schweikert, James Schweikert, Michael Schweikert, Jeff Schweikert, Kristy Schweikert Hirko, Mark Schweikert, Jacob Tankersley, and Anna Tankersley Hicks; and 13 great-grandchildren.

While there he retired from the maintenance department of the Martin County School System. After his retirement, he moved to Live Oak.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, W.C. Huggins and Edgar Huggins.
He is survived by his wife, Charlsie, of Live Oak; a daughter, Polly Williams, of St. Augustine, Florida; four grandchildren, Carol Kanost, Darlene Delaney, Bobby Lingold, and Trey Williams; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Horace Huggins, of Blountstown; two sisters, Vera Dudley and Elma Mullins, both of Blountstown.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. CT, Thursday, December 19, at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. CT, at Pine Memorial Cemetery. Interment will follow.

Survivors include two sons, Jason Melton and Jerry Melton, both of Altha; two daughters, Julie O’Bryan and her husband, Randy, of Marianna, FL, and Jahnie Economou and her husband, Alex, of Live Oak, FL; one brother, Rubin Melton, of Greenwood, FL; two sisters, Jimmie Boggs of Marianna, and Ann Gilley of Altha; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was born February 11, 1935, in Bristol to the late Neil and Dorothy (Story) Grantham. Kathleen lived in Liberty County most of her life, graduated from Liberty County High School, and was the salutatorian of her senior class.
She retired from the Bristol Post Office after 30 years of service, was a member of Telogia Baptist Church and was a member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, H. C. Duggar; her son, Darreyl Duggar, and wife Marcia, of Hosford; a daughter, Kathy Whaley, and husband, Jim, of Blountstown, Florida; four grandchildren, Laura Morrow and husband, Jason, Marcus Whaley and wife, Maria Elena, Shannon Duggar and Zack Duggar; one great-grandchild, Desmond Morrow; and a brother, Tony Grantham, and wife, Nancy, of Bristol.
