Mr. Leon Dale Porter, 61, of Altha, FL, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012, in Dothan, AL.
Dale was born in Jackson County and had live in Calhoun County for most of his life. He was a carpenter and woodworker for Lehigh Furniture Company for 14 years. Dale was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Altha.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, Fred Porter and Hubert Bates.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Porter, of Altha; his mother, Lula Nix, of Altha; two daughters, Melissa (Porter) Reynolds and husband, Trey, of Bainbridge, GA, and Bobbie (Porter) Hartley and her husband, Michael, of Tallahassee, FL; her brother, Glenn Bates, and his wife, Edith, of Altha; two sisters, Glenda Burch and her husband, Larry, of Altha, and Lisa Thompson of Kentucky; three grandchildren, John Taylor Reynolds IV, Douglas Hartley and Virginia Glenn Hartley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, at 10:00 am (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery near Altha. The family will receive friends Monday, November 12, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home.

OBITUARY - Mullins
Mr. Coy Richard (Ricky) Mullins, 60, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012, at his home.
Ricky was born on July 24, 1952, in Blountstown and had lived in Calhoun County all of his life. He was a 1970 graduate of Blountstown High School and attended Chipola College in Marianna. Ricky was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in the United States Army for 8 years. He was a retired truck driver and a member of the protestant faith.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Coy Mullins, and a brother, Ferrell Mullins.
Survivors include his mother, Elma Mullins, of Blountstown; three daughters, Wendee Mullins of Clarksville, Christy Grayville and her husband, Roland of Altha, and Ashley Evans and her husband, Stephen, of Milton; one brother, Darrell Mullins, and his wife, Desree, of Scotts Ferry, FL; two sisters, Sybil Brown and her husband, Kendal, of Scotts Ferry, Janice Goodwin and her fiancée, Dennis Youngs, of Altha; seven grandchildren, including a special friend and grandson, Dillon Phillips; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 15, at 1:00 pm (CST) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Michael Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown.

OBITUARY - Stone
Mr. Frank L. Stone, 86, of Blountstown, FL, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012, at his home.
Frank was born on July 7, 1926, in Calhoun County and had lived here all of his life. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Navy and Air Force. Frank worked with the State of Florida as a gasoline analyst for 22 years then served as Property Appraiser in Calhoun County for 16 years. He was a 1944 graduate of Blountstown High School. Frank truly loved working with his cattle and fishing. He was a member of Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church in Blountstown and a member of the American Legion.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Ethelle Graham Stone, and a brother, B.H. Stone.
Survivors include a son, Terry Stone, and his wife, Debbie, of Blountstown; a sister, Nancy Stone, of Blountstown; two grandchildren, Casi Stone Chaney and husband, Rob, of Tallahassee, and Becki Stone Stanley and husband, Donald, of Blountstown; one great-grandchild, Aubri Leigh Chaney; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Felix Gay, Jr. age 78, of Clarksville, FL passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, in Panama City, FL.
Felix was born on August 17, 1934, in Panama City and had lived in Calhoun County for the past 25 years coming from Panama City. He retired after 34 years from Arizona Chemical Company in Panama City. Felix truly loved farming, hunting and fishing. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Poplar Head Baptist Church in Clarksville.
Felix was preceded in death by his parents, Felix M. Gay, Sr. and Lorayne (Branning) Gay, and a son, Marvin Gay.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Gay, of Clarksville; two sons, Marion Gay and his wife, Denise, of Bear Creek, FL, and Stephen Raisbeck and his wife, Jessica, of Frink, FL; two daughters, Beth Barnes and her husband, Ricky, of Panama City, and Jara Whitworth and her husband, Jeremy, of Blountstown; a brother, Jim Gay, and his wife, Alice, of Bayou George, FL; a daughter-in-law, Tanya Raisbeck, of Panama City, FL; a nephew, Jim Gay, of Atlanta, GA; and 10 grandchildren.
