Mr. John T. Allgood, Sr., age 82, of Blountstown, FL passed away Thursday morning, June 28, 2012, in Panama City, FL.
John was born in Elba, Alabama, and moved back to Blountstown in 1981, coming from Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He was a 1948 graduate of Blountstown High School and a retired Senior Master Sergeant with 24 years in the United States Air Force. John was also a retired Major with 18 years at Florida Department of Corrections. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blountstown.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Clyde LaVaugh (Goodman) Allgood.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Allgood, of Blountstown; two sons, John T. Allgood, Jr. and his wife, Natasha, of Washington, LA, and Donald C. Allgood and his wife, Lori, of Destin, FL; one brother, Robert Cecil Allgood, of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Floy Nanette Johnson, of Grand Ridge, FL; three grandchildren, Lauryn Kimberly Allgood, Brigitte Leigh (Allgood) Clark and her husband, Charlie, and Johnathan Derek Allgood.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 30, at 11 am (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Odum officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown. Lonnie James Lee, 88, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, in the Calhoun Liberty Hospital in Blountstown.
Lonnie was born in Calhoun County on March 26, 1924, to the late Ivory Stack Lee and Lillie Mae Stack Lee. Lonnie was a deacon at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He loved the people at Blountstown Health and Rehabilitation Center who had been a part of his family for the last three years. One would find him in his wheelchair rolling up and down the halls playing his harmonica.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth, Ella, and Shirley Faye.

Robert Houston “Bobby” Sangster, age 60, of Altha, Florida passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Bobby was a lifelong resident of Altha and was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping and he was a fun loving practical joker. Bobby was a truck driver and a member of Chipola Holiness Church. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Johnny Irwin Blackburn of Altha, Florida passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the age of 54. Johnny lived in Calhoun County all of his life and was a member of First Baptist Church of Blountstown. He was a self-employed welder and in his leisure time he loved to grow plants and trees and loved to fish. He also served in the U.S. Air Force.

Mrs. Agnes Inez Wooten Dorch McBride went to be with her father on June 5, 2012.
Aggie was preceded in death by her husband, Jerrel “Mac” McBride; her parents, Hinton and Nora Dorch; her sister, Nora Alice; her niece, Crystal; and her brother, Charles.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri McBride and Jeff Crop of Oregon, and Sharon McBride and Joel Rogers of Florida; her granddaughter and heart, Renee’McBride-Rogers, of Florida; her brother, Lou, of Missouri; and many family members and friends.
Aggie left Calhoun County in the 1960s to follow Mac to Alaska where she was a military wife and special education teacher. Aggie was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mama, friend and woman who touched many lives and will remain forever in hearts from Alaska to Florida. Aggie was a deeply religious woman who loved his word and will now spend eternity with him. Aggie was a fighter until the end, making sure her loved ones were at peace before saying “good-bye.” Aggie’s home was the Blountstown Health and Rehab, where she was surrounded by love, getting lots of hugs and kisses.
No memorial service is planned. Memorialization will be by cremation.

He was past worship master of Mason’s Dixie Lodge No.109 and past worthy patron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 179. J.O. and his wife, Clyde loved touring the U. S. on their Gold Wing Motorcycle. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Runners Association and was state president in 1980. He served in the U. S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Odell, Sr. and Daisy Cleo Stone; two sisters, Vela Holloman, and Betty Suggs.
Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Clyde Marie (Kent) Stone of Blountstown; two sons, Ronnie Stone and his wife, Terrie, of Blountstown and Rickey Stone of Tallahassee, Florida; a daughter, Joann Bridges and her husband, Ronny, of Blountstown; six grandchildren, Sabrina Stone, Shade Stone, Jamie Stone, Michelle Baird, Veronica Barton and Joanna Pitts; twelve great-grandchildren; and a brother, Johnny Byrd Stone and his wife, Paula, of Sneads, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2012 in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Sansom and Reverend Dan Yoder officiating. Interment will follow in Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown.
