The service will be held at 2 PM CST, Saturday, April 14, at St. Mary MB Church in Blountstown with burial to follow in the St. John Cemetery. Viewing will be from 3 to 8 PM Friday, April 13, at Bradwell Mortuary in Quincy (850-627-3700).
She is survived by her daughter, Isha Baskette, and son, Frederick Baskette, both of Blountstown; sisters, Mary C. Mrs. May Cuenin, 90, of Marianna, FL passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Marianna.
May was born on April 22, 1921 in Ashland, Wisconsin and had lived in Marianna for the past nine years coming from Palm Bay, FL. Prior to retirement she was a real estate broker at National Realty in Melbourne, FL, she and her husband Harry owned and operated Cue Realty in Plantation, FL for many years. She was a member of Melbourne Seventh Day Adventist Church and Marianna Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Elma K. Shaffer, of Green River, WY; her immediate nieces and nephews, Anne Erskine of Ridgefield, CT, Charles Cuenin and James Russsel Cuenin of Grand Ridge, FL and many other nieces and nephews scattered throughout the U.S

Agnes Inez Peacock Diamond, 92, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2012.
Known to everyone as Nannie, she was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who we will greatly miss. Agnes was born and raised in Altha, FL and Blountstown, FL before moving to Pensacola in 1938. She was a member of East Brent Baptist Church and the Faith and Love Sunday School class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Thomas Diamond; father, William J. Peacock, Sr.; mother, Martha Jane Alexander Peacock; stepmother, Anna Massey Peacock; and brothers, J. Walter Peacock, Ernest Peacock, James Peacock, and Burl Peacock.

Mr. Clarence Martin, 95, of Altha, FL, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, in Marianna, FL.
Clarence was born on February 2, 1917, in Calhoun County and had lived here all of his life. He worked on a dredge boat for a short time in Port Arthur, TX, and served as one of the CCC boys during the depression. Clarence was a retired farmer, farming for 67 years. He was a graduate of Altha High School, a member of Immonia Lake Hunting and Fishing Club for 60 years, and a member of the Altha First Baptist Church.
Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Martin.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Martin and his wife, Brenda, of Lynn Haven, FL, and Wayne Martin of Blountstown, FL; a daughter, Juddie Barrett, and her husband, Jim, of Durham, NH; three grandchildren, Colby Martin, Kaylei Cain and her husband, Sean, and Kendall Martin; and one great-grandchild, Aiden Cain.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, at 11 am (CDT) at the Altha First Baptist Church with Reverend Jim McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow in the Chipola Cemetery in Altha. The family will receive friends Monday, April 9, from 6 until 8 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home.

Barbara Jean Parsons of Georgetown, SC, and previously from Blountstown, FL, went to be with her Lord on March 30, 2012.
Barbara loved the Lord, her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, spending time with her family and friends and loved going to church.

She is survived by three children, Kristen, John, and Pete; two brothers, Don and Kenneth; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Stewart; her parents, Thomas and Eula (Johnson) Jordan; and a son, Delwin Stewart.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Stewart, and his wife, Elaine, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; a daughter, Cheryl Stephens, and her husband, John, of Tampa, Florida; six grandchildren, Lora Stewart, Jennifer Stewart, Chad Stewart, Ashley Stewart, Amy Elizabeth Stephens, and Sarah Catherine Stephens; two great-grandchildren, Lane Stephens and Colby Rinberger; and a brother, J. Douglas was born March 15, 1937, in Washington, D.C. to the late Carl and Irene (Vick) Bottoms. He worked on Eglin Air Force Base as a construction worker for many years and moved to Altha from Crestview, Florida in 1979. He was a member of Blountstown Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Altha; sons, Rodney Bottoms of Altha, Douglas Lee Bottoms, Jr. of Hartford, Alabama, and Scott A. Bottoms and his wife, Shelbra, of Altha; a daughter, Donna Tippett, of Prattville, Alabama; three brothers, Johnny Bottoms and his wife, Peggy, Jessie Bottoms and his wife, Erma, and Richard ‘Blue’ Bottoms and his wife, Faye, all of North Carolina; sisters, Dennie Joyner of North Carolina, Dorothy Page and her husband, C.
