The above individuals were booked into the Calhoun or Liberty County Jail over the past week. Although they have been charged with a crime, they are considered innocent until proven guilty.
Eunice Lowery of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012, in Pensacola at the age of 92.
Eunice lived in Pensacola for 44 years and resided in Hosford, Florida, for the last six months. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Lowery; her parents, John and Zora (Phillips) Russell; her son, David Lowery; her brother, Thomas Russell; her sister, Clara Moore; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, James Lowery and his wife, Karen, of Hosford and Ben Lowery and his wife, Mary, of Pensacola; three daughters, Gwen Dick and her husband, Lester, of Mobile, Alabama, Brenda Hanselmann of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Mary Good and her husband, Mike, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four brothers, J. W. Russell, Jr. of South Carolina, Horace Russell of Mobile, Harold Russell of Spanish Fort, Alabama, and Gene Russell of Mobile; a sister, Geraldine Whitson, of Mobile; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 20, in New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette, Alabama. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Monday, March 19 at Nelson Funeral Home in Fayette, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to Covenant Hospice, 8383 North Davis Highway 3 North, Pensacola, Florida 32514 in memory of Eunice Lowery.

Hoyt David Graham of Hosford passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the age of 85. Hoyt was born in Danielsville, Georgia but he was a long time resident of Hosford. He loved the outdoors and was a seasoned woodsman and worked as a logger for many years. He also worked with the Liberty County Road Department for fifteen years. His greatest love was his wife and family. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Hosford.
Preceding him in death was his wife of fifty-two years, Gertrude Howell Graham; his parents, Thomas Lonie and Mercilla Jane (Turner) Graham; his brothers and sisters, Elco Graham, J. B. Graham, Vinnie Graham, Dora Graham Rollins, Lawrence Graham, Myrtle Graham Duggar, O. B. Graham, and Verla Mae Graham.
Survivors include three children, Barbara Ann Graham Burnett, Larry David Graham and his wife, Zandra, and Sandra Graham Pennington and her husband, Jeff, all of Hosford; six grandchildren, Sheryl Burnett Fountain and her husband, Randy, Lisa Burnett and her husband, Brad, Larry David Graham, Jr. and his wife, Kelly, Timothy David Graham and his wife, Kelly, Christy Pennington, and Michael Pennington and his wife, Kristy; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Ellis Graham of Thomasville, Georgia; three sisters, Ann Graham Knight, Thelma Graham Duran, and Hester Graham Quick, all of Thomasville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. EDT, Saturday, March 17, in the Chapel at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown with Reverend Aaron Elkins officiating. Interment will follow in Hosford Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m. EDT, Friday, March 16 at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown.

BHS student Justin Terry competed Monday, March 5, in Orlando at FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Job Interview. Justin received a silver medal and won the privilege to compete at the FCCLA National Competition in July.
