Mrs. Margaret Ann Jenks, 60, of Wewahitchka, FL, passed away Sunday morning, February 5, 2012, in Panama City, FL.
Margaret was born on August 30, 1951, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and had lived in Wewahitchka for most of her life. She was a retired CNA, working with Robinson Retirement Home. She was a member of the New Life Beginnings Holiness Church in Wewahitchka.
Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtice Barton, and a son, Charles Raymond Jenks.
Survivors include her father, J. Frank Bailey, of Kinard, FL; two sons, Tim Jenks and his wife, Greta, of Scotts Ferry, FL, and Jason Jenks of Wewahitchka; one daughter, Delores McDaniel, and her husband, Ray, of Wewahitchka; five brothers, Tommy Wayne Bailey and Tony Frank Bailey, both of Florida, Kevin Bailey of Wewahitchka, Phillip Bailey and Scotty Bailey, both of Kinard, FL; one sister, Shawn Pitts, and her husband, Lonnie, of Kinard; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorialization will be by cremation.
All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).

Heidi was born on February 24, 1983, in Panama City, FL, and had lived in Wewahitchka all of her life. She had worked as a CNA and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her mother and father, Martha and Charles G. Wiley of Wewahitchka; and one brother, Charles G. Wiley, II, of Savannah, GA.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, at 2 pm (CST) at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Wewahitchka with Reverend Nikki Davis and Reverend Joey Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Roberts Cemetery in Honeyville, FL. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February, 7, from 12 pm (CST) until service time at 2 pm (CST) at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Wewahitchka.

Patti was a 1971 graduate of Blountstown High School and received her BA degree in nursing from Tallahassee Community College. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tallahassee.

NEWS ALERT - Car Slams Into Mobile Home in Altha

A single vehicle crash in Altha Thursday night sent two people to the hospital.
Ethan W. Noblin, 20, of Marianna, and Chelsea A. Walker, 17, of Altha, were transported to Calhoun-Liberty Hospital with minor injuries following the accident.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 10 p.m. on Chipola Street in Altha. Noblin was reportedly behind the wheel of a 2008 Nissan Altima traveling east on CR 274. He allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of SR 71 and entered Chipola Street. The vehicle traveled one block east, drifted left, and entered the north shoulder, striking a utility pole and fence at 25590 NE
Pennington Street. The car crossed Pennington Street, then collided with a mobile home at 15860 NE Chipola Street. The vehicle was totaled.
Trooper R. Cox investigated and noted alcohol was a factor in the crash. However, the only charges filed at this time are for reckless driving.

Garrett Curtis Capps-Gordon
Fourteen year old Garrett Curtis Capps-Gordon, of Tallahassee and Bristol, went to Heaven on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Tallahassee.
Garrett was born in 1997 on his mother’s birthday, the seventeenth of April. In his early years, he lived and attended school in Bristol. For several years he has lived in Tallahassee and has most recently attended Montford Middle School where this year he was a member of the eighth grade class.
After school, Garrett greatly enjoyed being a member of a local youth rowing crew. Early this past December, Garrett and his crew won their division in a state rowing competition in Tampa, FL. Garrett and his entire crew returned to Tallahassee wearing enormous smiles and gold medals around their necks to the admiration of their friends and family.
When he was younger, Garrett attended Tolar School in Bristol and loved participating in local baseball and football leagues sporting the number “1” on his jersey. He especially loved visiting with friends and family. His special friends were his teachers and the Ray & Gwen McCoy family of Bristol.
Garrett was known and loved for his adventurous spirit by his friends and family. His daredevil antics are famous and provide many funny and entertaining tales among those who love him so well, particularly his five male first cousins. He loved to kayak, ride anything fast, bungee jump in the mall, and do almost anything that involved movement,
Garrett is survived by his parents James Gordon, Jr. and Jeanne Waggaman of Tallahassee, and Catrina Capps-Jordon and Kenneth Jordon of Bristol. His grandparents are Sonya M. Capps and the late Charles (Chuck) Capps of Bristol, James and Nona Gordon of Dothan, AL , Wayne and Elizabeth Taylor and John and Jane Waggaman all of Tallahassee. Garrett’s aunts and uncles are Curt and Paula Capps of Blountstown, Chad Capps of Bristol, and Jerri Gordon and Kevin Harrison and Craig Waggaman all of Tallahassee. Garrett is also survived by his best friends in the world-- his first cousins: Andrew, Austin, Aaron, Josh, Colton, Dakota, and London.
A memorial service will be held at Rivertown Community Church in Blountstown on Saturday, February 03. with a reception for friends and family following.
