Ray Neal Smith of Blountstown passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011, in Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 70.
He was born July 3, 1941, to the late Fred and Evelyn Marie (Brogdon) Smith in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a retired machinist at St. Joe Paper Company and was a member of Blountstown American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eilleen Smith.
He is survived by his companion, Beverly O’Bryan, of Bristol; a son, Rex Norman Smith, and his companion, Norma Martinez, of Blountstown; two daughters, Rayleen D. Anderson of Chipley, Florida, and Kelley Michelle Middleton of Blountstown; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 6, in Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 5 at Adams Funeral Home.
