Blountstown Roadrunners compete in Cougar Challenge, XC Track Meet

The Blountstown Roadrunners XC Track Team competed in two meets recently.

On October 5, they participated in a XC track meet at Sam Atkins Park where they finished first as a team and also received some individual medals. In the girls division, winners included: First place - Rachel Williams; second place - Shanna Price; third place - Morgan Weiler. In the boys division, winners were: First place - Jesse Hall; second place - Weston Schrock; third place - Will Price.

On October 8, the team traveled to Tallahassee and competed in the "Cougar Challenge" at Maclay Gardens. They performed extremely well and are pictured above with their awards. The boys and girls team both won second place overall for the middle school division.

The following individuals also received medals for finishing in the boys top ten: first place, Trent Woodham; third place, Derek Eberly; eighth place, Will McClellan. In the girls division, Bianca Martinez received a medal for finishing seventh place.

The Roadrunners will be traveling to Panama City on Saturday, October 15th, to participate in the Mosley “Dolphin Dash.” Great job, guys and girls!
