Mrs. Betty Jean Dilmore, 45, of Cottondale, FL, passed away Saturday, October, 1, 2011, at her home.
Betty was born on December 5, 1965, in Wewahitchka, FL, and had lived in Cottondale since 2010, coming from Panama City, FL. She was a student in the LPN Nursing Program. She as a member of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her husband, Forrest Dilmore of Cottondale; her mother and stepfather, Lenora and Chester Brannen of Tallahassee; a son, Mathew Rice, of Virginia Beach, VA; a daughter, Ashley Kidwell and her husband, Adam, of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Wade and Clay Pitts, of Texas; one sister, Eleanor Bice, of Panama City; and a granddaughter, Bailey Kidwell, of Virginia Beach, VA.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, October 4, at 5 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ryan Martin officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.
All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).

Forrest I am so sorry for the heartbreaking loss of Betty. Please know that you have the sympathy, prayers, support, and love of all of your friends and family now for as long as it takes. May God Bless you.

In the years that I worked with Betty, she was a good friend. I remember going to her office and we would just talk about anything. I would always make her laught. If I had a problem, Betty would help me out in any way she could. I knew that I could count on her to help me. She was my mentor and is and will always be in my heart and prayers. I will never forget what inpact she had in my life. May the angels watched over you now and forever.
