OBITUARY - Sewell

A.L. Sewell of Hosford passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011, in Blountstown at the age of 84.
He was born January 7, 1927, in Lake Wales, Florida, to the late Lark and Stella (Osborne) Sewell. He lived most of his life in Liberty County and retired from the Liberty County School system. He was a member of Telogia Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by two sons, Roger Sewell and his wife, Dorothy, of Hosford and Ray Sewell and his wife, Jackie, of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter, Peggy Sewell Summerlin, of Hosford; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Sewell and his wife, Faye, and R. D. Sewell and his wife, Mary, of Hosford; two sisters, Mabel Burke and Myrtle Pitts, of Hosford.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., ET, Tuesday, August 2 , in the chapel at Adams Funeral Home in Blountstown with Reverend Thomas Adams and Reverend Eric Durham officiating. Interment will follow in Sanders Cemetery in Hosford. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., ET, Monday, August 1, at the funeral home in Blountstown.
