Robert Eugene “Robby” McDonald passed away Monday, June 6, 2011, in Blountstown.

He was born August 11, 1987, and was a lifelong resident of Blountstown. He attended Christian Home Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Blountstown. Robby was a 2005 graduate of Blountstown High School and was currently a student of Chipola College. He was an avid sports fan and was a member of the BHS 2004 Football State Championship Runner-Up team.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William McDonald and Grady Burkett, and his uncle, William McDonald.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Lawana McDonald, and his brother, Joseph McDonald. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Mamie Sumner and Lovie Burkett, and many other loving relatives.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 10, at the Blountstown First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend David Goodman officiating. Interment followed in Nettle Ridge Cemetery in Blountstown.

Robby loved his family and friends with whom he shared his love of music and drums. He has left so many wonderful memories and a void in our lives that can never be replaced.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to First Pentecostal Holiness Church Robby McDonald Memorial Fund, P. O. Box 281, Blountstown, Florida 32424.
