Although damage was extensive, fortunately no one was injured when a blaze broke out midday Monday at Keith’s Auto Repair Shop on South Main Street in Blountstown.
Firefighters from the Blountstown, Nettle Ridge, and West Side fire departments responded. Sources say a fuel pump was being repaired on a fairly new vehicle inside the shop when the gas tank caught fire. The shop is owned by Keith and Brandy Lee of Blountstown. Thanks to all those who worked tirelessly to extinguish this enormous fire.
