Jonathan Leath, an 8th grader at Blountstown Middle School, was recognized at Thursday night’s School Board meeting as a winner of the 2010 Governor’s Recognition Essay Contest sponsored by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.
As a result of his winning essay, Jonathan was awarded a four-year college scholarship provided by the Florida Prepaid Foundation. Check out this week's print edition for the full story.
