“Cigarette bandits” busted for convenience store heist

Two Calhoun County men dubbed the “cigarette bandits” were apprehended last Wednesday for a Washington County burglary.

Roger Gary Driggers, 58, who manages the Breakaway Dragstrip, has been charged with burglary of an unoccupied structure, grand theft, criminal mischief, and violation of probation. George Francis Gore has been charged as a principle in the first degree.
