The Blountstown Tigers completed a very successful regular season Friday night at Bowles Field with a 28-14 victory over Baker.

With the thrilling victory over Liberty County last week still dancing in their heads and the first round matchup with Northview Bratt looming next week, many were afraid the Tigers wouldn’t be able to concentrate on Baker. It wasn’t their best performance, but the Tigers put enough points on the scoreboard and stiffened on defense when needed to secure the win.

Now the Tigers can concentrate totally on the Northview Bratt Chiefs who also completed at 9-1 season last week. Northview’s only lost came midway their schedule to Freeport, 27-13, who will host Liberty County Friday night. Northview defeated Vernon two weeks ago, 47-19, to clinch their district runners-up spot in the playoffs. They beat Baker 39-36 during the season.

Kickoff for the playoff game with Northview Bratt Friday night at Bowles Field will be 7:30 CT.
This Tiger team has had an outstanding season and needs your support Friday.
