Corrections officer, hospital employee face fraud charges

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.

A twisted web is being unraveled at Calhoun-Liberty Hospital where an anonymous tip helped uncover a case of alleged insurance fraud.

Dallas Hogans, 26, of Bristol, and Cedric Bernard Simmons, 34, of Blountstown were arrested Tuesday.

Both Hogans and Simmons are being charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud over $20,000. Hogans is charged with three counts of forgery and Simmons is charged with being a principle to forgery.
