Altha Ozone at state
Ozone Teams Go To State
Calhoun and Liberty counties were well represented at the Florida Dixie Youth Baseball 2010 Ozone State Tournament held in Sebring July 10-16.
In the first day of tournament action, Liberty County defeated Okeechobee, 5-4, with Chi Chi Roulhac on the mound. Altha was edged by Hardee Orange, 3-2.
On day two, Altha was eliminated after being defeated by Wewahitchka, 8-3. Liberty County fell to South Lake, 12-0.
Liberty County was eliminated on day three when they lost to West Seminole American, 11-0.
Sebring and West Seminole American wound up in the championship game with Sebring winning the tournament.
Congratulations to Altha and Bristol Ozone teams for making it all the way to state! Way to go, boys!
