The Calhoun County Industrial Development Authority officially opened the new 3,100-foot runway at the Calhoun County Airport last Wednesday.
This runway offers a new option to local pilots with much larger aircraft. The next phase of the airport’s improvements will be the completion of 24 new T-hangars. The airport is located within the Calhoun County Industrial Park.
