Coach Cooper will be honored Monday

Blountstown High School’s legendary former coach, Ted Cooper, will be honored Monday, June 14, on his 84th birthday.

Former players and cheerleaders are invited to Parramore’s Too at 11:30 a.m. Monday for a catfish dinner with Coach Cooper. Parramore’s has arranged a special price of $8 per plate for the occasion. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to Jim Kearce at 674-5858 so seating can be arranged.

Come out and hug Coach Cooper’s neck and let him know how much he meant to you!

The celebration was wonderful, and my dad could not have been more honored. It was a pleasure to see all of the players and cheerleaders from those “glory days” of Tiger Football. My parents, my sister, my brother, and I were so grateful for the turnout, and wish to thank those that worked to make this event something none of us will ever forget.
